Family Camping
Traditionally the flat camping ground at the base of the valley floor has been known as the “Family” camping area. It’s a section of the event venue that we encourage those with kids to camp. A section aimed at people who like and earlier night in order to start bright and early the next day to enjoy the all competition. We’ve tried to make this a great camping area full of families with children all enjoying themselves without the bravado of some of the other campers who wait all year for the Tuff Truck weekend to unwind with mates sharing stories long into the night. While there will always be a few that get carried away and forget their neighbours around them, our security and staff try to enforce the intentions of each of the 3 distinct camping areas each year.
Family Pass Only
To take this a step further, in 2016 we are reserving sections 6-8 of the Premium camping ground to Family Weekend Pass ticket holders only. This means only vehicles taking advantage of the great value family pass (SAVE up to $160) will be able to camp in the new “Family ONLY” section. All groups in this area should have at least one child with them. Who know’s your Tuff Truck camping neighbour may spawn a friendships long after the event closes the gates on Sunday.
Get a FAMILY Weekend Pass + Reserved Camping now and choose “FAMILY” from the section option to reserve your space.

Hey
Just wanting to know I would like to book in the reserved area with 2a 2c under 12 in the premium/reserved area… I have looked and it says that only family weekend pass can book that area? Family pass includes paying for teen which we don’t have…. PLEASE HELP
A Family pass is $280. 2 Adults passes with showers is 2x($110+$15)=$250, add $30 for the camping ground and it is also $280 and you still have a bonus shower pass for one of your children.
The Family pass really is great value – even without using the Teen Pass (you can still buy the family pass – you don’t have to use all the components of the pass.
Quick question. I’ll be camping with the missus and 2 kids. Can my brother camp in the family section with us? He’ll be by himself thou. Thanks
That’s fine so long as he’s in the same vehicle as you and has a Weekend Pass.
