The "MOG" is a 1960 model which had been sitting in a paddock for 18 years.
We intend to get to Tuff Truck 2009 on a $10,000 dollar budget to prove you don't have to spend Mega Bucks to compete. As standard the "MOG" has front & rear diff locks on the fly, deep reduction in 1st & 2nd, 2 reverse gears, 850 mm of rear wheel travel, 400mm of diff clearance, 600mm chassis clearance (but we are working on that) and 20 inch rims.
Also, as my grandson has DS we are going to raise some money for Downs Syndrome NSW. We will be offering anyone with DS a ride in "MOG". It will be exciting but safe, at a special day to be held on our property at Taree on the Mid North Coast (date yet to be set). All proceeds from the day will go to Downs Syndrome NSW.
