Express Entry
Why?
The days of Tuff Truck being a small 4×4 run club event have long gone and the expansion in interest in the event is now massive. Each year several thousands of 4WD fan’s head into the little district of Milbrodale to enjoy a weekend of camping along with lots of extreme 4×4 action. Also each year we have a growing number of fans driving to the event early aiming to get in as soon as the gates open to get a preferred site in the un-reserved camping ground.
With more and more vehicles queueing for event we, conjunction with NSW Police and local council, have had to make changes to improve traffic flow with the benefit of getting fans in the gates quicker.
One big part of the strategy is “Express Entry”
How’s it going to work?
Express Entry is the opening of the event gates to prepaid ticket holders ONLY. To enter early Friday you must come to the event with your ticket (which you will receive 2-3 weeks before the event). There will be no cash ticket sales until noon Friday.
Also to make sure this really does increase the flow of cars coming into the event; every person in the vehicle must have a prepaid ticket (unless it’s a child 12 and under, as they don’t need a ticket). Cars will be asked to show tickets before joining the queue – if anyone doesn’t have a prepaid ticket, they will not be allowed to join the queue until gate ticket sales open. Remember that there are no EFTPOS facilities and gate ticket sales are by cash only after 12pm Friday.
As always, please assist the flow by not bringing pets, fireworks, or glassware to the event and adhering to the alcohol restrictions. Remember this is a family event on a working farming property.
Where can I prepay my Ticket?
The only place you can prepay your ticket is in the Tuff Truck online store – get your ticket now.
Your ticket will be sent to you 2-3 weeks before the event.

Hi, if i purchase tickets on line today 7 April, will i get them in time,
Thanks.
Yes – if you have an email address you will get them within 48 hours of payment. Online Ticket sales close on Sunday 12 April, so everyone will have their tickets the Wednesday before the event.
Hi, I appreciate the efforts to reduce congestion and lengthy queues. In the past the queues have stretched for several Kms down Milbrodale Road.
How does a prepaid ticket-holder get anywhere near the express entry if there is a lengthy queue already in place?
Once I hit the inevitable queue (several kms out) how will express entry work?
Lance,
Express Entry means that we will not be handling cash gate sales until 12pm. At the Gate sales Slows down entry.
Of course there will be a queue. How can one possibly avoid a queue when 3000 people attempt to enter at the same time. We will make entry as fast as possible. Remember though, if you arrive at 4 am & enter the site at 9am, you have only queued for 1 hour, not 5 hours. as we do not open until 8am.
the problem of the long queues can be solved with reserved campsites.as you mentioned there are 3000 plus people trying to get in the gate to get there preferred campsite.
by having reserved campsites people will know that there campsite will be there wether they turn up at 4am or 2pm in he afternoon.
this will stop the queues.
if you number the campsites and then allow people to reserve that spot at the point of ticket purchase.
when you stay on one campsite the next year you should have the right of refusal to have that same site again.
in the event that you don’t reserve and pay for you ticket entry then the campsite should then be put up for some one else to use that year.
this also gives the die hard tuff truckers that go every year to support this great event the benefit and also the respect from the organisers of the event for attending every year.
if you look at how the Campsites are managed for the Bathurst
1000 you will understand
tuff truck event is 3000 plus Bathurst is 20-30 thousand plus
It’s definitely something that we’ve thought about and was actually going to trial it in a small section this year but we didn’t have the staff or time to facilitate it. How much extra would you expect to pay for a reserved space and what size should it be?
Hey guys im not attending due to kid duties but the tix are purchased in my name my husband is goin is that goin to be a problem that im not there cause tix in my name
Not a problem at all.
Hi, It appears that I can still buy tickets online, will we still receive the tickets via email or will there be an issue in checkout.
Thanks
Online ticket sales have now been closed. All Tuff-e-Tickets will be sent out by midnight Monday.
I purchased my tickets online a few weeks ago but still haven’t received them cheers
Tickets have been sent by email this year – see Tuff-e-Ticket for details.
Hi guys I have the se question as lance about the queue and you reply unfortunately did not answer my question. Is there a desperate one for prepaid ticket holders thanks
It’s hard to understand what you’re attempting to ask… There has always been a separate queue for prepaid tickets. By only allowing vehicles with every occupant has a ticket to even join the queue before noon Friday we hope to speed up the entire early entry – thus EXPRESS ENTRY. If cars haven’t prepaid all their tickets they will be sent away until 12pm.
Can we just stay 1 night saturday? Just 2 adults 3 kids under 11
Hi Amanda
